Michael Rivers Martin

Michael Rivers Martin, age 18, of Cumming, went to be with Jesus unexpectedly, Saturday, December 27, 2014.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 3rd, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Drive, Gainesville, Georgia. Pastor Dwayne Welborn will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 3, 2014 from 10 - 11 am at the funeral home.
Rivers was born February 17, 1996 in Atlanta, GA. He graduated from North Forsyth High School in 2014 with a dream to become a pilot. Rivers was a devoted son, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all. The Martins are members of Free Chapel in Gainesville, GA.
Rivers is survived by his mother, Dawn Martin, father, Mickey Martin, stepfather, Michael Torney; brothers: Lanier Martin and Logan Martin; step-brothers, Mick Torney and Austin Owen; grandparents, Patricia Durden, Claude Weeks, Hayward and Lunelle Martin; uncle & aunt, J.L. and Genelle Temple, uncle, Dennis Martin, aunt, Melissa Camp, girlfriend Lua Cartee and a host of other family members.
