Jean Marie Tankersley Cameron

Jean Marie Tankersley Cameron, 76, Gainesville passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Danny Newbern and Reverend Earl Pirkle will officiate. Visitation will follow the service.

Mrs. Cameron was born on May 10, 1938 in Gainesville to the late H.G. "Doc" and Sarah Hudgins Tankersley. She was a bookkeeper for Morris McClure Distributing and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cameron is survived by her brother, James A. Tankersley of Gainesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Morris McClure of Gainesville; Rhonda and Cleveland Brown of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Shirley Tankersley of Gainesville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Central Baptist Church building fund, or Eagle Ranch.
