Olive Goldie Creek

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Olive Goldie Creek, age 90, of Pendergrass, Georgia, who passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Olive taught school until she was 70 years old at Flintstone School in Flintstone, MD. She was a member of Piney Plains United Methodist Church, Little Orleans, MD and The Order of Eastern Star.

She was known for her crafting and made yearly Christmas presents for the entire subdivision in Pendergrass as well as gifts for local children. She will be missed by many. Mrs. Creek was preceded in death by her husband, Howard William Creek of Little Orleans, MD Preceded and her parents, Rexie And Estella Dingley of Buck Valley, PA.

Mrs. Creek is survived by two children, Eugene Creek and wife Margie of Toowoomba, Queensland Australia; Greta Crandell and husband Kent of Pendergrass, GA; two sisters, Velma Adams of Catonsville, MD; Nellie Lewis of Laurel, MD; five grandchildren, Erica Pietch and husband Rob of Brisbane, Queensland Australia; John Creek, Toowoomba, Queensland Australia; Jason Richards and wife Brandi of Calhoun, GA; Kenneth John Crandell of Pendergrass, GA; and Jerome Brown of Marietta, GA; six great grandchildren, Baylea, Colton, Dawson and Easton Richards of Calhoun, GA; David and Mathew Pietch of Brisbane, Queensland Australia; Olive also was survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews along with many other close friends.

Memorial services will be held in Georgia at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 3104 Poplar Springs Church Road, Gainesville, GA at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 10, 2015 and in Maryland at a later date.

Condolences can be expressed by donations to the charity of your choosing. Her health concerns were cancer, heart and diabetes.
