Sarah Ann Hightower Stewart

Mrs. Sarah Ann Hightower Stewart, age 83 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday Morning, December 29, 2014 at Willowood Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Ralph Shook will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stewart was born September 10, 1931 in Calhoun, Georgia to the late Luther & Eva Hale Hightower. She was a retired nurse at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center and was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Survivors include, her husband of 66 years, Harley Grady Stewart of Gainesville, son & daughter in law, Gary & Karen Stewart of Lula, son & daughter in law, Michael & Jackie Stewart of Oakwood, son, Keith Stewart of Gainesville, son & daughter in law, Jeff & Kellie Stewart of Flowery Branch, brother & sister in law, Van & Mary Hightower of Cartersville, grandchildren, Shane & Summer Stewart of Flowery Branch, Rusty & Kristi Stewart of Gainesville, Lindy & Josh Woodruff of Ft. Meade, Maryland, Cason, Jantzen, Adelaide and Sawyer Stewart, all of Flowery Branch and six great-grandchildren.
