Anna Dean Hall Payne

Anna Dean Hall Payne, 92, of Commerce passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Hill Haven Nursing Home in Commerce.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with internment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend John Webber, Brother Wayne Montree, and Brother Jerry Thompson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 28, 2014 form 4-8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Payne was born on November 22, 1922 in Iva, South Carolina to the late William Reid and Josephine Prudenc Boroughs Hall. She was a weaving instructor at Gainesville Mills and was a member of Church of God in Commerce. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jimmy H. Anderson; daughter, Merlyna Anderson; sons, Mickey Paul Anderson, Marvin Anderson; daughter, Betty Mauldin, brother, Bruce Hall, sisters, Prudence Hall, Louise Dean Heart.

Mrs. Payne is survived by her husband, Harold Payne; son, Jimmy Reed Anderson; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 8 great great-grandchildren; sister, Dot Reeder; brother, Sam Hall; several nieces and nephews.
