Cheryl Lynn (Sherry) Pilgrim

Ms. Cheryl Lynn (Sherry) Pilgrim, age 57, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away at Landmark Hospital in Athens, Georgia.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, December 29, 2014 at New Holland Baptist Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Terry Crawford will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the funeral home.

Sherry was born June 4, 1957 in the community of New Holland, the daughter of the late Bill Pilgrim and Lavonia (Chambers) Pilgrim. She was a member of New Holland Baptist Church. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Theresa Pilgrim of New Holland; niece, Ashleigh Pilgrim and fiancé Adam Gooch of New Holland; niece, Christy Pilgrim; great-nephew, Trevor Smith; great-niece, Amy Smith; and a very special person in her life, Rinda Taylor and a host of extended family also survive.
