Theo Robinson

Mr. Theo Robinson, age 76, of Gainesville, GA passed away December 25, 2014, following an extended illness.

He was born on the family farm in Hall County to late Gordon & Irene Wallace Robinson. At 17, he went to work for Best Ice & Locker Co. in Gainesville, now known as Fieldale, and retired there after 50 years. He was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. He was happily married to his wife of 9 years, Ruby Robinson.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby; sister, Wilma Couch; daughter, Kathy (John) Fields of Indiana; sons, Keith (John) Robinson of California; Kevin (Carey) Robinson of Dawsonville, GA, daughter, Thea (David) DuBose of Flowery Branch, GA; his grandchildren are as follows: Shane Lee, (preceded in him in death), Lark, Lindsay, Wyatt Robinson, Pairlon & Walker DuBose; great-granddaughter, Jessie Marie Lee of NC; step-children, Steve Riddle and Theresa Johnson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:30 pm Monday, December 29, 2014 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow at Cool Springs Baptist Church. The Reverend James Campbell and Reverend Ricky Stone will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
