Celeste Renae Maher Fausel

Obituary Date: Sunday, December 21, 2014
Celeste Renae Maher Fausel, age 53, born in Dolton, Illinois, raised in Ormond Beach, Florida and resident of Forsyth County since 1996 passed away on Sunday, December 21st, 2014.

Celeste was a loving mother of four wonderful children: Jonathon, Stephen, Alyssa and Andrew; and a caring wife to her husband of 28 years, Peter. She dedicated her life to building a warm and loving home and raising her children. She leaves behind three grown boys and one special daughter Alyssa. She was amazing in her patience in providing for Alyssa while also making sure all who knew her felt loved. She will be missed deeply by those who crossed her path. She was an amazing person who only knew how to love those around her unconditionally. She never turned down giving time, money or both. She held together a very hectic family schedule with sports, church, and charitable work. She believed in treating others as family, no matter what the circumstance. She would open her door to anyone knocking. She personified servant leadership through her unbelievable affection and subservient attitude. Anyone with the pleasure of knowing her knew the passion, love and affection with which she lived her life. Giving, loving and deeply caring about people just came natural and was not something she could turn off, it was a part of her soul. There wasn't a challenge or family need that went unmet.

She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Carol Maher and her father Jack Maher whom she now has joined in heaven. In addition to her loving husband and children she also leaves behind her mother Geraldine, brothers John and Mark and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Come share in our love for Celeste at the wake on Monday, December 29th from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. (with the Eulogy's beginning at 6:00 P.M. at which time all are welcome to stand and say a few words about Celeste) at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming Georgia. There will be a second opportunity for all to pay respects on Tuesday, December 30th from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon. A full Catholic Mass will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at St Brendan's Catholic Church in Cumming, Georgia. Immediately following the Mass we will have a procession to the cemetery for the burial services.
