Kate Erline Rogers Haynes

Kate Erline Rogers Haynes, 103, of Gainesville, GA., passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 following a period of declining health.

A life-long resident of Hall County she was the daughter of the late Leco L and Ruth Whitmire Rogers. Mrs. Haynes was a homemaker and a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #1.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haynes is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest R. Haynes; daughter, Pollyanna Haynes Brice; son, Richard Haynes; daughter in law, Kansie Haynes; son in law, John D. Bennett and grandson, Tim Haynes.

Mrs. Haynes is survived by one sister, Jeffie Rogers Adkins of Kansas; son, Bobby D. Haynes of Gainesville; daughter, Carole H. Bennett of Gainesville; son in law, J.W. Brice of Stockbridge; Grandchildren, Shelia Brice (Hiram) Childs of Watkinsville, Mark W. (Debra) Brice of Stockbridge, Jan Brice (Todd) Strickland of Albuquerque, NM, Jeff (Tammi) Haynes of Clermont, Joe (Quita) Haynes of Gainesville, Johnny Richard Haynes of Gainesville, Rene Haynes (Steve) Souther of Gainesville, Matthew (Ayumi) Bennett of Nashville, TN, Richard Bennett of Gainesville; great grandchildren, Julia, Joseph, Sarah, Katie, Ruthie, Robert, Katelin, Billy, Tracy, Emily, Clay, Tasha, Christy, John Ross, Chase, Kelly, Drew, Ally, Cameron, Carisma, Emma, John; 6 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. John Dell will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.
