Summer Marie Davis

Mrs. Summer Marie Davis, age 20, of Lumpkin County, formerly of Tennessee, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014.

She was a loving wife, step-mother, sister, aunt and friend. "She was my best friend", stated her husband, Nathaniel Smith. She loved to laugh and loved life living it to the fullest. Summer used to enjoy hunting with her father and spending quality time with her husband.

Summer was preceeded in death by her father, Jerry Lee Davis, of Tennessee. She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel Smith and son, Nathaniel Smith, Jr., both of the home, her mother, Helen Davis, of Tennessee, sister, Courtney Lee Davis (Rion Gilliam) of Tennessee, niece; Kendall Shae Gilliam, of Tennessee and mother-in law and father-in law, Michelle and Curtis Roland of Dahlonega.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 27th from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
