Charles Robert Ford

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Charles Robert Ford, age 83, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest on Friday, December 19, 2014. Mr. Ford was born in Girard, Pennsylvania the son of the late Loyal and Cecil Reynolds Ford, served his country in the United States Marine Corp, and was an entrepreneur associated with Kentucky Fried Chicken for some twenty years. Mr. Ford was a member of Galilee Christian Church.

Mr. Ford is survived by his wife of sixty years, Carolyn Gilley Ford of Jefferson. Two daughters, Kay Gibbs of Florida, and Lisa Murphy of Lawrenceville. Two sons, Thomas Ford of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Robert Ford of Pennsylvania. Also eight grandsons and one great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Monday, December 22, 2014 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Minister Nick Vipperman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1:00
