Matthew Scott Thompson

Matthew Scott Thompson, age 21 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Northridge Hospital following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Ricky Casper ad Reverend Rusty Martin will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mr. Thompson was born January 19, 1993 in Milledgeville, Georgia to Henry Shane Thompson and Tammy Westbrook Lavon Potter. He was employed with Wendy's and was a member of Lula Full Gospel Church.


Mr. Thompson is survived by his father, Henry S. Thompson of Baldwin, mother, Tammy Potter of Dahlonega, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
