Kataleene Nix

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 a..m. Friday at Northlake Baptist Church for Kataleene Nix of Gainesville. Rev. Danny Jones, Rev. Bill King and Rev. Tony Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Ward's Funeral Home. Mrs. Nix passed away Tuesday December 16, 2014.








A lifelong native of Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Garland and Nellie Faye (Haynes) Martin. She was a charter member of Northlake Baptist Church, worked at the Gainesville Mill and later with her late husband, Lewis Nix at Lewis Nix Bookeeping Service.








She is survived by brother in law, Ernest and Edna Nix; sister in law, Inez Nix; nephews and nieces, Harold Kanady, Dwight and Wanda Loggins, David Nix, Doug and Cheryl Loggins, Michael and Alice Loggins, Wayne Nix, Betty Jean and Milton Gaddis, Sandra Boothby, Lynn Martin and Linda Disney; and a number of cousins, host of other relatives and friends.
