Dorothy Virginia Zumwalt

Dorothy Virginia Zumwalt, age 103, passed away on December 10, 2014, at Sonshine Manor in Dahlonega, Georgia. Truly Dorothy from Kansas, she was born June 28, 1911, in Iola, Kansas, and grew up in Kansas City. She married Eugene Victor Zumwalt in 1934, and moved with him to Georgia and then to California. In 1998, she moved to be with her daughter, Rosemary, and her son-in-law Isaac Levy in North Carolina and then in Georgia.



In her long life and throughout her changes of residence, she had continuity of commitments and interests. A loyal Methodist, she was a member of Decatur First United Methodist Church. A life-long quilter
