Scott DeLay, age 31 of Washington D. C., formerly of Habersham County, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014.

Mr. DeLay was born on January 10, 1983 in Athens, GA.

Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Jan DeLay, Clarkesville, GA, Cheryl and James Valerio, Jefferson, GA; daughter, Aislynn DeLay, Canton, GA; sisters, Alicia Collier, Oakwood, GA, Amber Gilbert, Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Kris DeLay, Statham, GA, Seth DeLay, Carnesville, GA, Adam DeLay, Clarkesville, GA, Brandon Holcomb, Clarkesville, GA, Christian Holcomb, Clarkesville, GA; grandmother, Alice Burrell, Carnesville, GA.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel in Demorest.

The family will receive friends on the day of the memorial service, Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 11:30 am until the memorial service hour.
