Annie Ruth Dodd Jameson

Mrs. Annie Ruth Dodd Jameson, age 76 of 987 Joe Smith Road, Mt. Airy, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Cliff and Carrie Scott Dodd, she was born November 14, 1938 in Habersham County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She was employed with U.S. Envelope Company for a number of years and later with Pruitt Healthcare and was a member of Chopped Oak Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Jameson in 1988.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Bill Gibbs of Mt. Airy, Georgia; four sons and daughters-in-law, Terry Jameson, Keith and Becky Jameson and Charles and Tanya Jameson all of Mt. Airy, Georgia and Chris and Robie Jameson of Toccoa, Georgia; grandchildren, Brooke and Heath Stonecypher, Bronson Lee and Crystal Gibbs; nine step-grandchildren and four great grandchildren; sister, Betty Frady of Mt. Airy, Georgia.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 12, 2 O'clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Thomas Gragg and the Reverend Scott Slaton officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Greg Jones, Robert Wells, Bronson Gibbs, Cliff McIntyre, Lee Gibbs and Heath Stonecypher.

The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jameson, 500 Joe Smith Road, Mt. Airy and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.

Interment will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Annie Ruth Dodd Jameson.
