Erma Jean Queen

Miss Erma Jean Queen, age 79 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 5:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Kate Jensen will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 4 - 5 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Miss Queen was born September 20, 1935 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Roy Queen and Goldie Canberry Queen. She was called Aunt Ginnie Bennie by all her nieces and nephews. Erma was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Ruth Fuhur and Irene Miller and her brothers, Bill Quick, Jack Quick, Carl Rogers and Ronnie Queen.


Miss Queen is survived by her sisters, Helen Parker of Gainesville and Betty Hill of Pataskala, Ohio.
