Harriet Greer Reed

Harriet Greer Reed, 68, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with internment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Dr. Chris Swan will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 pm and on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Reed was born on November 28, 1946 in Gainesville, GA to the late Frank Ridley and Margie Strickland Greer. She was retired from North Hall High School where she was a teacher for 30 years and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband, Frank Reed of Gainesville, and sister, Hilda Greer of Lake Wiley, South Carolina.
