Anthony 'Tony' Blake Martin

Anthony "Tony" Blake Martin, age 51 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Jeff Worley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 4 - 9 pm and Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.


Mr. Martin was born June 12, 1963 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late H. R. Martin, Jr. and Omie Tench Martin. He was a Paramedic at Northeast Georgia Medical Center for many years and also was an EMT Instructor for Lanier Technical College and Emory University.


Mr. Martin is survived by his sister, Diane Martin of Oakwood, brother, Curtis Martin of Oakwood, special cousin, Sarah McGuigan of Oakwood, nephew, Jimmy McGuigan of Braselton, as well as numerous beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
