Dennis Wayne Dougherty Sr

Dennis Wayne Dougherty Sr., 64, of Gainesville passed away on December 2, 2014 at his residence following a sudden illness.


Memorial services will be held at a later date.


Mr.Dougherty was born on November 15, 1950 in Anacortes, Washington to the late Stephen and Barbara Jean Moore Dougherty. He was an honored Vietnam Vet and received commendations of Valor. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.


Mr.Dougherty is survived by his wife, Jeri Dougherty, son, Dennis Dougherty Jr., daughter, Heather Dougherty, brother, Stephen Dougherty, and several nieces and nephews.


In lieu of flowers, any donations can be sent to the Georgia Veteran's fund.
