Kathleen Smith Whitlock

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Kathleen Smith Whitlock, age 99, of Winder, Georgia, who entered into rest Sunday, November 30, 2014. Mrs. Whitlock was born in Jefferson, Georgia the daughter of the late Earl and Ruth Kent Smith, was retired from the Poultry Industry and was a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Mrs. Whitlock is preceded by two daughters, Barbara and Mary Jane Whitlock, two sons, Donald and Charles Whitlock, sister Mary Lou Irving, three brothers, Jewel, Julius, and James Smith, and her husband, Comer L. Whitlock.

Survivors include daughter, Marion Hardigree and her husband Melvin of Winder, Son, James Whitlock and his wife Shirley of Commerce, daughter, Linda Weaver and her husband Harold of Winder, daughter , Joyce Carroll of Commerce, 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 4, 2014 from the Pond Fork Baptist Church with Reverends Johnny Knight, M.A. Poole and Scott Lance officiating with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
