Ruby Lee Pharris

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Ruby Lee Pharris, age 92. Mrs. Pharris
passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stephen Gerrells officiating, interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church #2.

Mrs. Pharris was born in Lumpkin County on May 23, 1922 to the late Hughes Reece and Annie Grindle Reece. She had spent most of her adult life in the Atlanta area and will always be remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and one who loved taking care of others. She is preceded in death by her husband Clyde Pharris and brothers Clarence Reece, Herbert Reece, J.D. Reece and Herman Reece as well as sisters Maudelle Ash, Josie Ash, Beulah Mae Bruce and Edna Loggins. Survivors include her sons, Billy Pharris (Cecelia), Stockbridge, Dan Pharris (Chris) of Alabama; daughter Linda Brantley ( Rick) of Barnesville, GA. Mrs. Pharris is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Flowers will be acknowledged, however it is requested that memorial donations be made to the National Breast Cancer, 2600 Network Blvd, Suite 300, Frisco, TX. 75034

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 12, Noon until 2:00pm
