Kathleen Mynatt Ward

Kathleen Mynatt Ward, age 88, of Cumming, GA went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 29, 2014. A native of Knoxville, TN, Mrs. Ward has resided in Cumming for the past 22 years where she was a member of First Baptist Church. A loving wife and devoted homemaker, she loved volunteering at the hospital and taking care of people. Mrs. Ward was also a very talented artist. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, A.L. Ward and her brothers, Bud Mynatt and Preston Mynatt.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna Ward (Bob) O'Callaghan of Cumming and Linda Ward Touchton of Hoschton, GA; grandchildren, Rob (Twyla) O'Callaghan, Kelly (Eric) O'Callaghan Angel, Wes O'Callaghan, J.D. Touchton; and 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Marian Bullard, Betty Goins, Hoke (Mary) Mynatt, Jack (Penny) Mynatt; sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Walker; many nieces and nephews and long-time friends, Marie Kennedy and Dr. Roy Hall; special care-givers and friends at the Villas at Canterfield.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday , December 2, at 11:00 A.M. at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville, TN. The family will receive friends at Berry's Lynnhurst Funeral Home beginning at 10:30..

The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Monday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
