Bob D. Brice

Bob D. Brice, 89, of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 following a period of declining health.

Born on January 21, 1925 in Forsyth County, he was the son of the late Hugh and Leola Hifill Brice. He had lived most of his life in Hall County. He was self-employed in the family's auto parts business, H.D. Brice and Sons in Gainesville, for many years. Mr. Brice was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Hill Brice.

Mr. Brice is survived by his daughter and son in law, Ann and Ed Lowe of Athens; son and daughter in law, Sam and Debbie Brice of Commerce; grandchildren, David and Sarah Lowe, John Lowe, Adam Lowe, Dan and Angela Brice, Joe Brice, Mark Brice, Jake Brice, Josh Brice; two step grandchildren, Kim Windham, James Fuller; great grandchildren, Daniel Brice, Christopher Brice, and Andrew Brice.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Calvin Haney will officiate. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
