Donald Talmadge Alexander

Mr. Donald Talmadge Alexander, age 80 of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014.

Mr. Alexander was born on July 17, 1934 in Cleveland to the late Ed and Eliza Smith Alexander. He was a farmer, a logger and was in the construction and grading business. Mr. Alexander was a member of County Line Baptist Church. Donald was preceded in death by his sisters Rosa Jean Tomlin, Lois Tomlin, Betty Loggins, brothers Coy Alexander, Raymond Alexander, Laymond Alexander, Jake Alexander, Ron Alexander and Joe Alexander.

Survivors include his wife, Rheba Alexander, Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Eddie Tanner; Lydia and Milton Harris, all of Cleveland; son Darren Alexander, Cleveland; grandchildren, Amanda and Paul Kennedy; Adam and Allison Tanner; Drew Harris, Drake Harris, McKenzie Alexander, McKrae Alexander; great grandchildren, Amelia Kennedy, Adalyn Kennedy, Anley Kennedy, Beau Tanner; brother, Billy Alexander, Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at County Line Baptist Church. The Rev. Swayne Carlan, the Rev. Milton Harris, the Rev. Eddie Tanner and Mr. Darren Alexander will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with the Rev. Bryan Satterfield and the Rev. Matt Stowers officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
