Harold Reed

Harold (Pop) Reed, 76 of Gainesville passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at The Oaks in Baldwin following an extended illness.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with internment to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Reverend Aaron Bennett will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Reed was born on August 24, 1938 in Suwanee to the late James Roy Reed and Lucille Howard Reed. He was a retired Diesel Mechanic and was of Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Donna Reed; sons, Michael Reed and Dale Reed; sister, Jane Parks; brothers, Larry Reed and Ron Reed.
Mr. Reed is survived by daughters, Lynn Reed Allen of Demorest, GA, Stacey Jones of Gainesville; sons, Harold Anthony (Tony) Reed of Ellijay, GA, Rodney Steven Reed of Gainesville, Johnnie Haygood of Okeechobee, FL; 21 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Miller of Gainesville; brothers, James Roy Reed, Jr. of Commerce, GA, Franklin Reed of Banks County, Ricky Reed of Habersham County.
