William A. "Dub" Fraser, age 90, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mallie and Annie Fraser; first wife, Edna Taylor Fraser; and sisters, Nadine Cleveland and Barbara Ivey. He is survived by his loving wife of thirteen years, Shirley Barnett Fraser; children, Stanley Fraser, Winder, GA, Deborah White, Gainesville, GA, Greg and Susan Fraser, Gainesville, GA, and Gary Fraser, Flowery Branch, GA; sister, Margaret Fraser Poma, Flowery Branch, GA; brother-in-law, James Taylor, Buford, GA; sister-in-law, Geneva Chatham Taylor, Buford, GA; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; stepdaughter, Karen and Jeff Towles, Gainesville, GA; stepson, Dale and Diana Barnett, Sharpsburg, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Fraser was born July 31, 1924 in Flowery Branch, GA. He was a graduate of Buford High School and retired from Georgia Boot Company after over forty years of service. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy, a member of Blackshear Baptist Church for twenty-eight years, and a former member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Channell officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, 5979 New Bethany Road, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
