William 'Glad' Anderson

William "Glad" Anderson, 81 of Dahlonega, GA passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at his residence. He was a member of Cavender Creek Baptist Church. He attended North Georgia College and was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Poultry Science.



He is preceded in death by his Parents, Lee and Ellie Anderson; sisters, Thelma Gay and Estelle Tomasulo.



He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Evelyn Anderson of Dahlonega, GA; children, Wayne K Anderson of Gainesville, GA, William Keith and Donna Anderson of Dahlonega, GA; brother and sister in law, Marvin and Barbara Anderson of Dahlonega, GA; brother-in-law, Charles Gay of Cleveland, GA; grandchildren, Stephanie and Michael Chastain, Joseph and Ashley Anderson, Ellie Anderson and Emma Anderson; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.



Family will receive friends on Wednesday November 19th from 3pm until 9pm, and Thursday from 10 am until 1pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Cavender Creek Baptist Church.



In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Cavender Creek Baptist Church or to your favorite charity in memory of Glad.
