Robert Alan Starner

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Wednesday November 19, 2014 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Robert Alan Starner,77, of Gainesville. Rev. Gary Huff will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens, GA. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am. to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Ward's Funeral Home. Mr. Starner passed away Sunday November 16, 2014.










Mr. Starner was born in Ohio to the late Frederick and Mary Starner. He moved to Blairsville, GA in 1999 from Lakeland, FL and later moved to Gainesville, GA in 2005. He was a salesman for over 20 years with Chesebrough Ponds Inc. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet Cozad Starner, who passed away on September 29, 2014.

Starner, Buford, GA , daughter, Ronda K. Britt, Arlington,VA, brothers Jim and Don Starner, and sister Phyllis McSwain, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
