Brenda F. Poole

Brenda S. Poole, 68, of Gainesville, Ga. passed away November 15, 2014 following and extended illness.



Born in Anderson, SC on August 20, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Berthene Shanklin. She was a nurse for over 40 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.



She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Johnny Poole of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Wendy and Jeb Smith of Hastings, Fl.; daughter, Cindy Poole of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Christy and Billy Ingram of Gainesville; grandchildren, Jared Smith, Cady Smith, Jeremy Smith, Cayla Smith, and Priscilla Lee Ingram; father in law and mother in law, M.A. and Meredith Poole of Gainesville and extended family.



Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Poole, Pastor Billy Ingram and Pastor Jeb S. Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. At Brenda's request the casket will remain closed.
