Funeral services for Lavinnie Lee Simmons Frady, age 69 of Clarkesville will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Chopped Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 6-8 PM.

Mrs. Frady passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Habersham County on May 13, 1945 Mrs. Frady was the daughter of the late Grover L. And Maudine Hamilton Simmons. Mrs. Frady was a homemaker. In addition to her parents Mrs. Frady is preceded in death by daughter Deborah Pitts and son Randy Belford.

Survivors include her husband Corbin "Chub" Frady of Clarkesville, sons and daughters-in-law Barry and Cindy Belford of Anderson, S.C., Larry and Faye Frady of Toccoa, and Doug and Wanda Frady of Mt. Airy, sons Jimmy Frady and Michael Frady, both of Clarkesville, step-daughter Cathy Stover of Toccoa, brothers and sisters-in-law Daniel and Gloria Simmons and Jessie and Sandra Simmons, all of Anderson, S.C., sisters Blondine Ware of Anderson, S.C., and Louvenice Bramblett of Seneca, S.C., as well as 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
