Harold Louis Dupuy

Mr. Harold Louis Dupuy, age 87, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014.

He was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, but spent most of his adult life in Georgia. He served his country in the United States Navy, and retired from Amoco Oil Company. He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Dahlonega.

Harold was the son of the late Anthanase and Vivian Bayard Dupuy, and was also preceded in death by his brother, Milton Dupuy.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joan Dupuy, Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Jolene Mitcham, Dahlonega, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Shirley Dupuy, Dawsonville, GA; daughter, Susan Dupuy; son, Danny Dupuy, both of Dahlonega, GA; brother, Bayard Dupuy, Metairie, LA; sisters, Lois Frederick, Metairie, LA, and Margaret Ficaro, Covington, LA. 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Mass for Harold is scheduled for 11 AM Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Dahlonega, GA.

Father Neil Dhabliwala will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega, GA with military honors provided by the Veterans Alliance Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA from 4 PM until 7 PM Sunday, November 16, 2014.
