Mrs. Matha Tallant Tribble, age 95, of Cumming, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014. She was a devoted wife for over 64 years, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Tribble, a native of Forsyth County, graduated from Brenau University and was active in Alpha Chi Omega. She taught school in Forsyth County before she married.
Survivors include her children Nancy Tribble Heard and her husband, James of Marietta, Joseph Tribble and his wife, Patrice of Rome, and William Carl Tribble and his wife Sheron of Cumming; grandchildren, Pavan Heard Funk and her husband, Robert of Cumming, William Carl "Beau" Tribble Jr. and his wife, Krystle of Dawsonville, Amy Tribble Nolen and her husband, Phillip of Middletown, R.I. and Hailey Luzny and her husband, John of Cumming; great grandchildren Ansleigh and Luke Funk of Cumming, Madeline Tribble of Dawsonville, and Charlotte and Quinn Luzny of Cumming.
Mrs. Tribble was preceded in death by her husband, P.W. Tribble Jr., and her parents Carl and Ethel Tallant.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15th at 3:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Orin Sampson officiating. Interment will be at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
