Betty Joe Hulsey

Betty Joe Hulsey, age 82 of Lula, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Peachtree Christian Hospice Center following a brief illness.


Funeral services are scheduled Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Timberridge Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Reverend Isaac Carlyle will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hulsey was born April 28, 1932 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Rupert Entrekin and Leola Hall Entrekin. She was a homemaker and was a member of Timberridge Baptist Church. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lee Edward Hulsey.

Mrs. Hulsey is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Betty & Nyle Wilcocks of Tampa, Florida, sons & daughters-in-law, Thomas & Annis McCollum of Woodstock, Georgia, David & Patricia Hulsey of Norcross, Georgia and Tommy George & Shannon Hulsey of Buford, sister, Julia Haney of Anderson, South Carolina, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
