Ina Lavada Wilson Campbell

Ina Lavada Wilson Campbell, formerly of Gainesville, died peacefully on November 1, 2014, at Avante of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC. Born on May 2, 1916, in Jackson County, GA, to the late Riley Baxter and Nellie Norris Wilson. Ina resided in Gainesville until January of 2000 when she moved to NC to be with her son and daughter in law.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Dorsey Campbell and her son Dwane Riley Campbell.



She is survived by her daughter in law, Virginia W. Campbell; her grandson, Dwane R. Campbell, Jr. (Chip) and his wife Joy of Folkston, GA.; granddaughter, Marcia Renee Campbell Wiles and her husband Randy of Ronda, NC.; grandson, Gregory Brian Campbell and his wife Sharon of Rock Hill, SC.; She is also survived by three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.



A funeral service for Mrs. Campbell will be held on Friday November 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be deacons and friends from Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church, Mrs. Campbell's church throughout her adult life. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour and a reception will be held at the funeral home after the burial.
