Ruby Gober Ellsworth, age 84, of Buford, GA passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Ellsworth; son, Mickey Miller, Sr.; parents, Everett and Ora Roach Gober; and brother, William Gober. She is survived by her daughters, Toni Miller and Wayne Peevy, Young Harris, GA and Michelle and Charles Scoggins, Buford, GA; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cecil and Gay Gober, Buford, GA and Jim and Liz Gober, Buford, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Ellsworth was born July 31, 1930 in Buford, GA. She was a graduate of Sugar Hill School. She was a retired realtor from Norton Realty Company in Buford, GA. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford where she was also a member of the Bykota Sunday School Class and the Abundant Life Fellowship. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Jericho Church, 555 Buford Highway, Suwanee, GA 30024 with Rev. James Godwin officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service. Her remains were donated to Medical Science at Emory University for Medical Research. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation in memory of Ruby Gober Ellsworth.
