Fay D. "Don" Heuszel

Memorial services for Fay D. "Don" Heuszel, age 88 of Cornelia, Georgia will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Heuszel died October 31, 2014.

Don was born in Paynesville, Minnesota on September 10, 1926, grew up in Wellington, KS, and served with the USMC from November, 1944 to June, 1946 in the US and Pacific.

Don retired from 38 years of Federal Civil Service with the Atomic Energy Commission (now Department of Energy) and the Department of the Army. He was a member of Clarkesville United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lafe and Maude Heuszel, two sons, Steven Allen and David Earl Heuszel, four brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife Yvonne Heuszel, daughters Karen McLain (Don) of Mt Airy, GA,
Donna Jantzen (Richard) of Mulvane, KS and sister Gladys Tull of Independence, MO. Four grandchildren: Tia Tucker, Buddy Moyer, Corey Moyer, Dixie Hancock; 8 great-grandchildren: Michael Davis, Katelyn Tucker, Gage Tretheway, Gaby, Lexi and Grayson Moyer, Slade Hancock, Knox Hancock.
