Joe David Wansley

Celebration of life services for Mr. Joe D. Wansley of Buford, Ga., will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014, 1:00 p.m., at Union Baptist Church, 251 Bona Road N.E., Buford, Ga. Rev. Dr. Kary Harris pastor and eulogist. Remains will be placed in state at 12 noon. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Buford, GA.




Visitation is Friday October 31, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Young's Funeral Home. A wake will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Union Baptist Church.

He is survived by wife, Sherry Cantrell Wansley; daughters, Kim Wansley Ingram (Cary), Sabrina Wansley Flowery (Chris), and Tracy Wansley Brown (Carl); son, Gary Wansley (Kia); brothers, Ivery Jean Wansley, James Wansley, and Robert Wansley; grandchildren, Trenton and Carissa Ingram, Jordan and Cameron Wansley; brothers-in-law, Eugene Delaney and Bobby Cantrell; sister-in-law, Mattie Wansley; special friends, John Cooper, Levon Thomas, and Walter Murray, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.




Family and friends will assemble at 70 Bell Street Buford, Ga., at 12 noon.
