Jack Howard Eldredge

Mr. Jack Howard Eldredge, age 84 of 344 Currahee Trail, Toccoa passed away Saturday October, 25, 2014 at Stephens Country Hospital.

The son of the late Judson and Laura Johnson Eldredge, he was born November 23, 1929 in Fulton County, Georgia where he lived most of his life before moving to Toccoa in 1983. He was a veteran in the United States Army in the Korean War. He was retired from Owens Plumbing Company in Atlanta. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Toccoa and a member of the local 72 Plumbers and Steam Fitters Union.

He is survived by his wife Helen Mauldin Eldredge of the home, a god-daughter Penelope Goodwin Durham of Sugar Hill, Georgia and two god-sons Victor Goodwin of Sugar Hill, Georgia and Mark (Beth) Goodwin of Newnan, Georgia, one sister and brother in law Joyce and Ray Morris of Tallulah Falls, Georgia and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday October 28 at 2 PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. John Brown and the Reverend James Turpin officiating.

The family will be at the home on Currahee Trail and will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 PM.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Mark Goodwin, Dru Durham, Victor Goodwin and Dustin Durham.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens
