Clarence Leonard England, 71, of Gainesville passed away on October 21, 2014 at his residence following a sudden illness.


Funeral Services with be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home entombment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Mike Burgamy and Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 4-8 pm at the funeral Home.

Mr. England was born on October 26, 1942 in Gainesville to the late Maydo England and Mamie Truelove England. He was retired as a self-employed tile layer and was of Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Margaret England Lipscomb, Ralph England, James England, Willie England, Lawrence England, Richard England, and Guy England.

Mr. England is survived by his wife of 36 years Nancy Galit England; Daughter and son-in-law, Karen England and Jeff Allen; daughters, Myra Burgamy and Donna Thompson; sons and daughters-in-law, Kim and Tammy England, Mike and Carmen Burgamy; grandchildren, Blake Allen, Shae Allen, Mike Burgamy, Tyler Burgamy, Crissy Weaver, Jade Weaver, and Katie England; sister, Brenda England Allison.
