Kayne Michael Hunsbusher formerly of Naples, FL residing in Oakwood GA passed away following an automobile accident on Saturday October 18, 2014 at the age of 22.
Kayne is survived by his parents Lisa (Lewis) Hunsbusher of Oakwood, GA and Michael Hunsbusher of Inverness, FL; his brother Jake Hunsbusher and sister Lexi Hunsbusher of the home and grandmother Claudia McAnaugh. He is also survived by his aunts Hitomi Lewis, Katherine Warner, Sheila (John) Rembas, Cheryl (Randy) Roemer, and Nancy Franchino and uncles Randy Lewis, Jeff Lewis, Mark (Claire) Dees, David (Tracy) Dees, Robert (Audie) Hunsbusher, David Orley, Joe Franchino and numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his special friend Lauren Rea.
Kayne was preceded in death by his grandmother Gloria (Susie) Lewis and grandfathers Hoyt Dees, Robert Hunsbusher Sr., Ronald McAnaugh, aunt Sandy Lewis, uncle Terry Lewis and cousin Megan Donaldson.
Kayne was born on June 23, 1992. He graduated from West Hall High School in 2011. He was employed by I Know Jack Handyman services and had previously worked for Lake Lanier Islands Resort. Kayne loved paintball, skateboarding and rollerblading. He enjoyed playing the guitar. Kayne was kind and full of life and a friend to everyone. Kayne's goodness and light will shine on in all those he helped through Organ Donation. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family and all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Chestnut Mtn Presbyterian Church, 4675 Winder Hwy Flowery Branch. Family will receive friends at 2pm with service following at 3pm. Chaplain Jeff Thompson will officiate. In lieu of flowers a Kayne Hunsbusher memorial fund has been established at Hallco Community Credit Union.
