Ensley Silas Evans

Ensley Silas Evans, 76, of Gainesville passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with internment to follow in the Air Line Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Bradley Elliott and Reverend Doyal Conley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Evans was born on April 20, 1938 in Dawson County to the late Sanford and Mattie Mae Andrews Evans. He was a self-employed Brick Layer and was a member of Airline Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mildred Evans; sons, James Evans, and Don R. Evans.

Mr. Evans is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and David King of Eastanollee, GA; son, Tommy Joe Evans of Gainesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Maxine and Cecil Motes, Dorothy and Billy Fowler all of Gainesville; sister, Betty Temple of Canton, GA; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
