Mr. Jimmy Jasper Hatcher,77 of Gainesville died Friday October 17, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Hatcher, a lifelong resident of Hall County was the son of the late O.L. and Adell Underwood Hatcher. He was retired from Con-Agra Feed Mill where he was a truck driver. Mr. Hatcher was a member of the Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sandye and Sam Grindle, Gainesville; grandchildren, Hayden Grindle, Kyle Grindle; Stephanie (Michael) Nowlin; Kristina (Chad) Rail; Scotty Hatcher, all of Gainesville; great grandchildren, Bryson Nowlin, Blakeley Nowlin, Karisma Rail, Ember Rail and Adalyn Rail, all of Gainesville; daughter-in-law, Diane Hatcher, Gainesville; sisters, Bea Moss, Dawsonville; Eula (Gene) Parker, Murrayville; Ellon England, Murrayville; Helen (Floyd) Tanner, Dawsonville; Joyce (Clifton) Chester, Dawsonville; JoAnn (Upton) Abercrombie, Dahlonega; Patsy (Mike) Sherwood, Dahlonega; brothers; Jerry (Peggy) Hatcher, Dahlonega; Benny (Maxine) Hatcher, Gainesville; sister-in-law, Mary Hatcher, Gainesville; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. Hatcher is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ann Graham Hatcher, son, Randy Hatcher, brothers, Johnny Hatcher, Tommy Hatcher and Perry Hatcher.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday October 19, 2014 at the Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Ricky Stone will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Jason Buffington officiating. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Saturday October 18 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
