Ruby Mae Hall Hulsey

Ruby Mae Hall Hulsey, 85, of Gainesville passed away on October 11, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 2pm at Timber Ridge Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Harmony Hall Baptist Church. Reverend Alvin Burns, Reverend Quentin Self, Reverend David McLendon will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 6-8 pm and Monday, October 13, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hulsey was born on November 4, 1928 in Gainesville to the late Henry Hampton Hall and Pauline Duncan Hall. She was a housewife, mama, grandmother, Mama Hulsey and Nenny and former owner at Jaynes flower shop and was also a member of Timber Ridge Baptist Church. Mama was a lady who loved life and loved her family. She made her life about her family and loved keeping them near as much as possible. For her there were two kinds of people in the world, old friends and new friends, whether she had met them yet or not. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Hulsey; daughter, Margaret Ann Hulsey; sister, Jeraldine Hall Chitwood; brothers, Lamar Hall, Jack Hall, Dwayne Hall; daughter-in-law, Eileen Hulsey; son-in-law, Lee H. Grissom.

Mrs. Hulsey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Elaine Hulsey of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Alvin Cash of Gainesville, son, Jerry Hulsey of Gainesville, daughter, Debbie Stafford of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Horace Fortner of Dahlonega; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Margie Hall of Gainesville; grandchildren, Tammy and Rosco Cronic, Kim Simpson, Chris and Kassie Hulsey, Lorie and Craig Tankersley, Kelli Harris, Kevin and Kelsey Cash, Seth Hulsey, Tiffani and Chad Zernhelt, Ben and Sabrina Hulsey, Brooke Stafford, Katie Stafford, Ashley and Jessica Fortner, Carmen and Quentin Self, Isaac Fortner; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews that were very special to her.
