Roy Towe

Mr. Roy Towe, age 87, Dahlonega, GA died Friday, October 10, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Roy was born in Suches, GA March 1, 1927. He lived most of his life in Lumpkin County. He retired from Owens Hatchery in Dahlonega and was of the Christian faith.

Roy was the son of the late Henry Tow and Delia Pruitt Tow and was also preceded in death by siblings, Troy, Bill, Lizzie, and Wilburn.

He is survived by a number of relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Roy are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Kenneth Pilcher will officiate.

Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming, GA.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Saturday from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Sunday until service time.
