Betty Cowart Ethridge

Betty Cowart Ethridge, age 83, of Auburn, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Fred Ethridge. She is survived by children, Linda Sue Cole, Auburn, GA, Jerry and Peggy Ethridge, Buford, GA, Pat and Ron Peavy, Hoschton, GA, Elaine and Jerry Chalmers, Buford, GA and Anthony Fred Ethridge, Atlanta, GA; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Bishop, Lawrenceville, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Ethridge was born March 10, 1931 in Duluth, GA. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Duluth, GA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. David Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park in Norcross, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
