Mr. Thomas William Dean, age 70 of 2732 Ridgeland Road, Eastanollee, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Stephens County Hospital.
A son of the late Frank and Whitman Smith Dean, he was born November 29, 1943 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was employed with Stephens County Recycling Center and was a member of Martin Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Dean and Mary Dean and by a brother, John Dean.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Diane Pace Dean; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jodi and Bryan Coker and Susan and Jeff Ledford both of Eastanollee; six grandchildren including two raised in the home, Brittany and Whitney Dean, Bailey Coker, Kaylee Coker, Will Ledford and Jorga Ledford; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Nancy Dean of Toccoa and Edwin and Geraldine Dean of Lavonia; four sisters and brother-in-law, Gladys Bolmon and Dan and Fay Rickman of Toccoa, Sara Ruth Kinney of Mt. Airy and Rebecca Bohannon of Eastanollee; number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 10, 4 O'clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Bill Stacey, the Reverend Jerrell Beatty and the Reverend Clack Stubbs officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jonathan Parker, James Dean, Jr., Christopher Dean, James Dean, Jason Dean and Michael Pace.
The family will be at the home on Ridgeland Road and at the home of Michael Pace, 2659 Ridgeland Road, Eastanollee and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Interment will be in the Martin Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Thomas William Dean.
