Paul M. Stephens, age 56 of Smyrna, TN and formerly of Sugar Hill, GA died Friday, October 3, 2014 after an extended illness. Paul has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Fred Pitts and Rev. Hollis Benfield will officiate. The Family will receive Friends following the service. In lieu of flowers the Family request contributions be made to The Wounded Warrior Project. Paul is survived by His Wife, Anita Stephens, Smyrna, TN. Daughter, Jessica a Peterson and Husband, Doug, Golden, CO, Son, Thomas Stephens, Duluth, GA. Brothers and Sisters, Susan Valway, Dacula, GA, Bob Stephens and Wife, Susan, Tehachapi, CA, Liz Djordjavich and Husband, Mike, Bainbridge Island, WA, Carolyn McLaurine, Decatur, GA, Jim Stephens and Wife, Sherie, Tucson, AZ. Several Nieces and Nephews. Paul was born in Beaumont, TX and was a veteran of the US Army. Most recently Paul was Director of Maintenance for the Aviation Unit of the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
