Evelyn Kinsey Chosewood

Evelyn Kinsey Chosewood, age 74, of Turnerville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014 following an extended illness.

Mrs. Chosewood was born on July 31, 1940 in Clarkesville, GA to the late Lester and Elzoria McAllister Kinsey. She was a member of Turnerville Church of God. She was a very loving and dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, William David Kinsey.

Survivors include her husband, Grady Eugene Chosewood, of Turnerville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Steve Ivester, of Clarkesville, GA; sisters, Vera Mae Shelnut, of Alto, GA; Wille Mae Hooper, of Demorest, GA; brothers, Homer Kinsey, of Cleveland, GA; Waymon Kinsey, of Mt. Airy, GA; Roy Lee Kinsey, of Gainesville, GA. Grandchildren and their spouses , Britney Ivester Huff and Matt Huff; Cole and Jami Ivester; Cassidy Ivester; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Noah, Parker, and Dylan Ivester; Macade, Makinsey, and Cohen Huff.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Whitfield Funeral Home , South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Austin Ivester and Rev. Gerald Lee. Interment will follow in the Turnerville Church of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2014.
