Janet E. Cozad Starner

Funeral Services are schedueled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 1, 2014 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Janet E. Cozad Starner age 77 of Gainesville. The Rev. Gary Huff will officiate. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Athens, GA. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Starner went to be with the Lord on Monday September 29, 2014.
Mrs. Starner was born in Ohio to the late Willard L. Cozad and Anna Belle Kiser Cozad. She moved to Blairsville, GA in 1999 from Lakeland, FL and later moved to Gainesville in 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of Gainesville First Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her Sisters, Betty L. Anderson, Donna Miller and Beverly Chiron.
Survivors include Husband, Robert A. Starner, Gainesville, Sons, Robin Alan "Rob" Starner, Gainesville, Randy J. Starner, Hoover, AL, Ron Starner, Buford, GA, Daughter, Ronda K. Britt, Arlington, VA, Brother, Donald Cozad, Phoenix, AZ, Sisters, Sharon Harp,Carol May, 12 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
